You've got a friend...

What would you do if few of your friends starts leaving? I mean real friends. This was the very question which came to me days ago the moment I learned that a few of my friends are leaving for good, really hit me since I’ve been feeling a bit down lately. I felt really sad knowing that they will leave us and knowing that they will be back sooner or later. There was the fear of being physically away from them and the loneliness it entails, of losing touch, of missing out and being irrelevant to their lives. I was even afraid I would go into a mild depression of sorts because of this.

Carole King's song, "You've Got A Friend" promises "Winter, spring, summer, or fall--all you've got to do is call--and I'll be there." Many people expect that their friends will always be there. They expect friendship to last forever.

Yet, friendships end and friends part company everyday. Unfortunately, even the best maintained friendships can end. Many end because of a change in personality or lifestyle when friends just drift apart and fade away with time. There is a retreat from self-disclosure and seeking out each other's company. Avoidance begins. The friendship slowly loses importance and finally disappears.

Yet the biggest threat to a friendship is change.

But don’t get me wrong here. The friendship I built with my friends over the years I can honestly say will last until the end of time.

To Jam, Mike, Vil & Poch and to all those friends of mine who are soon be leaving. I can assure you my friendship with you guys will last forever. I will never change and grow into a different person you’ll despise. I’d remain essentially to be the same person as I am when you met me.
If we change, we change into similar directions.

See you guys, whenever wherever!

I don't jog, we don't jog...

Guess what? I had my first jogging session last night with ML.

It’s my first time to do hardcore jogging. Coz I don’t usually jog. ML had been doing it religiously for a while now since winter season had started. I long been wanting to jog with him. But how am I going to do that. I got no running shoes. It’s strange coz I had quite a lot of shoes except for running shoes.

Some of my shoes I don’t consider them as running shoes.

Then Nike Sport Center at faisaliah mall went on sale so I took the chance to buy one for me, by half the price. Actually two pairs. Isn’t it a perfect opp. for me? At least I still have one incase the other pair goes busted.

We jogged for like 30-min straight with a few walks in between. It’s my first time, so how am I supposed to compete with him. I think it’s ok to do that. I mean, the walk in between thing. I just have to work it out next time.

With a few more jogging session with ML then I’d be fine. I’ll be able to keep up with him.

Wowwww, it amazing how it keeps my blood pumpin’. I was perspiring all over.

Btw, I had a few questions in mind. Are there any rules in jogging? Is there a proper breathing technique? What outfit to wear? Just a few questions, though!

Wikipedia.com answers some of them;

Jogging is a form of trotting or running at a slow or leisurely pace. The main intention is to increase fitness with less stress than actually running, instead of competition.

DEFINITION

The definition of jogging as compared with running is not standard. Dr. George Sheehan, a running expert, is quoted to have said "the difference between a jogger and a runner is an entry blank".[1] Others are usually more specific, defining jogging as running slower than 6mph (10 minute per mile pace, 10 km/h, 6 min/km).[2]

History

The term to jog/jogging as a form of exercise originated in England in the mid seventeenth century. This usage became common throughout the empire and in his 1884 novel 'My Run Home' the Australian author Rolf Boldrewood wrote 'your bedroom curtains were still drawn as I passed on my morning jog'.

In the United States jogging was also called "roadwork" when athletes in training such as boxers, customarily ran several miles each day as part of their conditioning. In New Zealand during the 1960s or 1970s the word "roadwork" was mostly supplanted by the word "jogging", promoted by the coach Arthur Lydiard, and this form of running became quite popular among many people at that time. University of Oregon track coach Bill Bowerman, after jogging with Lydiard in New Zealand, brought the concept of jogging as exercise to the United States in 1962. Bowerman published the book Jogging in 1966, and later updated the book for a 1967 republication. Bowerman established jogging programs for men and women of all ages. The popularity of these programs helped to spread the concept of jogging as an exercise for everyone throughout the United States.[3]

Exercise

Jogging is a "high-impact" exercise that places strain on the body, notably the joints of the knee. As a result, some people choose to take up "lower-impact" exercises such as stair climbing, swimming, cycling or walking instead of jogging.

Jogging is often used by serious runners as a means of active recovery during interval training. The runner who may just have completed a fast 400 metre repetition at a sub-5-minute mile pace, may drop to an 8-minute mile pace for a recovery lap.

Like other types of aerobic exercise, jogging is an excellent means of improving cardiovascular health, bone density and physical fitness.

I’m not officially a jogger yet, but I’ll be soon.

Today is the day people, today is the day when dark, twisty & lousy bobot disappears forever, and Bright and Shiny bobot takes his place.

Watch out!!

The Britney Economy....

Portfolio.com: A back-of-the-napkin calculation of just how much the scandal-plagued star is worth to the multitudes who make money off her.

To the casual tabloid reader, Britney Spears' life looks like a train wreck. To the Britney Industrial Complex, comprising everyone from paparazzi to perfume vendors, she is a gold mine. Whether she's shaving her head or battling for custody of her children, Britney seems to grow more fascinating (and to some people, more lucrative) every time she stumbles. Recent court documents suggest she's amassed a $125 million fortune and continues to rake in about $737,000 a month, or nearly $9 million a year. But that's chicken feed compared with the overall Britney economy.

The Packagers

Britney has sold 83 million records since the release of her debut album in 1999, bringing in more than $400 million to Jive Records, her recording company. Even her 2007 album sold well, despite her troubles. Her tours have grossed nearly $150 million; the average take for her 265 solo shows is $583,138, according to Pollstar, which tracks touring data. But there's a lot more of Britney for sale than her music: Pure Nightclub in Las Vegas reportedly sold seats at a table next to hers for $50,000 at a recent bash, and she still commands between $250,000 and $400,000 just for showing up at events. Elizabeth Arden has sold nearly $100 million worth of its Britney perfumes—Believe, Curious, and Fantasy. PepsiCo determined that it was worth paying her a reported $4 million to $10 million for a short-lived ad gig.

Estimated annual take for record company, promoters, licensers, and others: $30 million to $40 million.

The PaparazziA Britney photo garners anywhere from $250 (for a run-of-the-mill shot of her at Starbucks) to $100,000 or more. The photo agency X17, which has a team trailing her 24-7, estimates that Britney accounts for 30 percent of its revenue: It sold $2.5 million worth of Britney photos in 2007 alone, including $500,000 for its exclusive Bald Britney pics. Competitor Splash News says that Britney accounts for 10 to 15 percent of its business, boosted this year by $200,000 for photos of Britney in a hot tub. All told, Britney probably makes up a full 20 percent of the paparazzi business.

Estimated average annual take: $4 million.

The Media

If it seems like every time you see a newsstand, Britney is on the cover of another magazine, that's only because…she is. A celebrity tabloid with Britney Spears on the cover sells 1.28 million newsstand copies, some 33 percent more than the average. Between January 2006 and July 2007, Britney was a cover subject of People, Us Weekly, In Touch, Life & Style, OK!, or Star a total of 175 times in just 78 weeks. During that period, newsstand sales of issues with her on the cover amounted to a staggering $360 million. She's also topped the annual Yahoo Search rankings in six of the past seven years, slipping to No. 2 only in 2004, when Paris Hilton briefly stole her crown. Searches for Britney were up 60 percent in 2007, the year of her divorce, shaved head, and car wreck. "If there was no Britney, would all Web traffic stop?" asks Vera Chan, senior editor at Yahoo. "I would hesitate to give her that much power, but it's hard to argue with the facts."

Estimated average annual take: $75 million.

K-Fed

The most famous ex in America, Kevin Federline is living large off his Britney-fueled image. Nightclubs reportedly pay him about $30,000 just for appearing. And he gets $35,000 a month from Britney in spousal and child-support payments.

Estimated average annual take: $1 million.

The Bottom LineBritney's peak touring and recording years are surely behind her, but the public's fascination with her chaotic life continues to mint money for those selling her image.

Estimated annual value of the Britney Spears economy: $110 million to $120 million.---

Gawker.com: Funny how even the driest of magazines finds a way to bring in the celebrity-obsessed reader. Portfolio's Duff McDonald makes a heroic effort to calculate the size of the Britney Spears economy. Record companies, paparazzi photographers, celebrity tabloids, and her estranged husband Kevin Federline: they all feed off the public's fascination with the popstar's rise, and fall. The pie chart shows the breakdown. One great data point: photo agency X17, which has paps working in round-the-clock shifts to ensure it doesn't miss a meltdown, garners 30% of its income from the troubled Spears.

I got these surprise email today from one of my best friends in the wholewide world. I'm gonna post it here. God knows how much i missed her. It's been a long time that we had communicated that much.

Lalay has changed a lot in many ways. She's a grown up woman now. We've shared a lot of secrets many years ago.

I love you bestfriend!

I wonder what's she's gonna say should she read this post. She'll understand anyway!!!

Here it goes....

hi bot,

how you doin buddy? got ur new year greetings though, cant manage to reply kase my load is gaan text, and thats about evry other day- wherein u get 40 sms out of ur 13php; 35 smart2smart and 5 for other networks. great!

miss you here, or shall i say i am missing one good soul whom i can really be with. hehehe, talk nonsense and all that stuff- but really i dont expect you to be that same person i met about, hmmm... was it a decade ago? haha. no, course not. uve got all the big change in you already. :D

(sigh) i am still stuck here in julian, doin the teacher tasks. cant imagine how the days flew so fast, lemme do the math. i am here for about 7 mos i guess, and in that span of time i only got my 2 month salary from the lgu- jun, july. i am planning to work on my other payroll/s and let those i-seldom-see-people in there sign my job order. it takes me about a month to let them all finish signing- the easiest way so far, uve got to have friends there and u know provide you that "sheet" of paper where they put their out of this world signatures- but i heard you have to give them tips.. it's the same rotten system. :(

hey, i am just doin fine with that, the only time that it gets into my nerves is when i want to buy somethin and i cant. hehe. but no worries, i am working on my papers for school board, hopefully next week. cant wait to get my ass out of here. it's long overdue already, my i wanted to tell u many things.

u have any plans of going home bot? this summer? there have been changes in town, people too have gone a lot of this evolution process. have u happened to be here when siocon commercial center was born? there's this new building agen in front, then we have the batasang pambayan near the municipal hall, and soon we are about to build a siocon hospital named after one of soriano's great ancestor. have i told u these? they're all his anyway or his plans- such a man- he's a politician and has paved his way to the businessworld. i wish i have latest pictures so i could send it to u, but unfortunately la pa. :)
andy and the rest of the guys, {which i know u are dying to hear about}they' re fine. ive jammed with my former classmates in hs during the holiday vacation, and they're all grown ups now, but they seem to be a lot bigger these days. they just love to drink, red horse and generoso for one.. and puff the long very white yet dirty inside. and they often talk nasty talks. i like being with them but when they ask me who my boyfriend is, i just dont know what to tell them. i often say there's no bf and they dont believe me sometimes- they know i am such a virgin, haha and tease me with it. yet i think i am a maniac or somethin. kidding, i just know i am hot, at least i wanna be- given the right time, place and all the rights i can think of. hehehe.

i am running out time here, got class at 9:50. and i seem to be running out of words too. - english words that is. hehehe. but really i feel good telling u all these.

Get well soon brit....

In light of the latest shocking news, I've seen the best and worst of fans. Yes, being a fan doesn't mean I should necessarily agree with everything she does, but as a fan, I believe, I should give Britney my support and show her I CARE and NOT put her down and criticizing her at such a difficult time! The bullies can say whatever they want, but me being a fan will stick by Britney even at the lowest of points. That's what fans are for, right?

If You Are A True Fan:
STAND BY BRITNEY SPEARS
Can You Say That For Yourself?

What will happen to britney or ME????

Freakshow...

The weather is cold, it’s showering outside and the sky is foggy, you can’t see right thru the faisaliah tower where I work. That’s exactly the same emotions I had a few days ago. I feel cold and sad and happy and confuse not knowing what I truly feel for this very person that I really liked.

It’s been over a year since I got to know him and it’s been over a year and I’m still confused. It’s hard to weigh my feelings towards him, how much I care for him. How much I’ve done for him. How much I fought for my feelings for him and myself.

For a year now, I have been patiently building, reshaping and improving my feelings for him. Though it is tried and tested.

And perhaps, this test that I am facing right now seems to be the toughest so far. Sometimes what I feel for him is so intense, I get so affected by his actions easily as if I will never be able to get used to it. Sometimes it felt like our world is drifting apart for so many reasons. That’s makes things confusing, if he’s really worth it.

But I couldn’t care less about all the love stuff and just go with the flow. I take pleasure and cherish every moment spent with him. No matter how good or how bad it is. No matter how silent our world when we’re together running out of topic to talk to. Moments that you wished it will never end and like stretch the time.

All this has always been a classic case scenario for me.

What I realized is that it’s clear and I knew I’m far from over talking about my feelings for him.

The most important question is, when will I be?

NOTE:

Don't get me wrong 'bout the pic that goes with this article. I am sooo not doing that...hahahaha! NEVAH!!!

Why should i be sad...

Its 2:23 am, I’m infront of my pc, trying to compose myself thinking ‘bout a lot of things. I can’t sleep. I guess my insomnia has kick in.

The last couple of days since the New Year had started; I made quite a fool of myself. It’s the eve of jan. 1 when everyone was all asleep I was alone in the sala. after spending sometime with my housemates celebrating the New Years Eve. Haven’t done it in quite a while. I just had a quite night alone and I was getting along really well with myself. There certainly weren’t any wild celebration. Haha. Just me, myself and of course my ever reliable companion, ML.

I don’t know, sometimes I can be crazy just like that. Gossh it’s the New Year and I started it out badly. I won’t say it’s really that bad. Like I killed a person, nah! I just can’t shout it out here at my blog. I’d rather keep it off to myself.

One of my close friend knows why I’m acting weird. I just hope my secret is safe with you friend.

I am not reli a superstitious kind of guy, believing on something or anything the elders had to say bout what to believe during the new year. I don’t really buy that. Only God knows.

Whatever’s in store for me this year, I’d accept it. I guess I just have to do the right thing.

Honestly, I’m ok, there’s nothing really to be sad about, nothing serious. It’s just me, trying to get personal and a little crazy.

Now I feel sleepy. Panadol nights really helps!

Brit's ode to the paparazzi....

Britney Spears: Not that innocent … and not that sensible. A temptress … and train wreck. A pop tart … and problem parent … and paparazzi goddess. Like it or not, this has been the fall of Britney Spears. These days, who doesn't want a piece of her? Even in a fall that featured new releases from some of the biggest and most revered names in music and in a week that offered the much-awaited reunion of Led Zeppelin, Spears has consistently dominated the media landscape, if not the CD sales charts.

Other pop stars write their own songs, or have better singing voices. Doesn't matter. Spears has consistently turned out some of the most irresistible singles of her era, from her first teen efforts to her most recent one, "Gimme More."

Above all, in an endlessly atomized pop culture universe, the 26-year-old singer - with her two children, her contentious divorce from Kevin Federline, her trip to rehab, her adventures behind the wheel and her taste in clothes … and out of them - is one of the few personalities whose outsized life still commands everyone's attention, and opinion.

YouTube offers countless clips dedicated to all things Britney, from the now-famous "Leave Britney Alone" plea to ESPN football announcer Mike Patrick wondering during coverage of a college football game, "What is Britney doing with her life?"

Why do we care so much? Because what Elvis Presley did for early rock 'n' roll, Spears has done for new-school, video-driven Web sites: provided an endless series of "hits" that has made possible the success of a whole new medium.

Sites like TMZ.com, PerezHilton.com, and x17online, and many more, have seen Spears' doings turbocharge their traffic.

And like a greatest-hits CD, everyone has his or her favorite Britney-in-public video moment: shaving the hair off her head … getting out of a car with Paris Hilton but without undergarments … running over a paparazzo's foot … dancing in a leopard-print bikini … running into the ocean without a bathing suit … appearing to leave her two kids in the car with her court-ordered parenting coach as she entered a store to shop for chandeliers … or this week, appearing to take a lighter from a store and forgetting to pay (she paid for it).

On the print side, it's as if she's moved onto the front covers of the tabloids like a kid moving back in with her parents after college: vowing to leave, but staying regardless. Along the way, she's revealed her … well, pretty much everything. What she hasn't done, for a long time, is explain herself publicly. In an interview with me in 2000, she declared that she would vote for whomever her parents told her.

Now, it would seem, no one tells Britney Spears what to do. No one. Whether you view that as the spirited, long-overdue rebellion of a showbiz child who did exactly as she was told for years, or as the horrifying downward spiral of a troubled young woman without the good sense to act in her own best interests, you'd have to admit one thing: No one can stop watching.

And that's because, in part, no one has stopped watching her, around-the-clock, all over town. Her every move in public, no matter how banal, gets chronicled by a swarm of videographers. Their constant presence has even generated some bizarre exchanges, like when the paparazzi pumped her gas, got her coffee or advised her on the Malibu fire.

As the video clips pile up, how much of what we're now seeing is objective reality, and how much is Spears playing the media-savvy provocatrix? At last, we may be getting some answers, since she's turned the tables on those who've besieged her in her latest music video for her new single, "Piece of Me."

With its sassy paparazzi kiss-off, as they battle to photograph her behind and capture her disguised face, its bathroom tryst cut short, and its eventually uninhibited night-with-the-girls dance floor throwdown, Spears gives it back to her media pursuers with a wink and an upraised middle finger, all while looking (if not moving) a lot more like the pop siren so many have always savored. If it's hard to know where the Britney carnival is headed, at least for now there's a glint of self-consciousness to go with all her antics.

Note. Sori i lied when i said i won't post anything bout brit this soon...LOLZ...sorry! can't help it..The article is just so nice not to post.
