My Comfort Food..

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE COMFORT FOOD/DRINK AND WHY IS IT SO?

Extra rich chocolate ice cream from Baskin Robbins – this would definitely be a treat to me; one of my greatest indulgence so to speak.

Leche Flan – I like it a lot that I tried to learn how to cook LF for myself. Though I have not perfected the best LF but still I’m proud of having to learn how to cook them.

Starbucks Vanilla Frappucino – I have always loved vanilla frapp. Almost every time I’d visit starbucks van frapp is always a hit for me. Its mellow smoothness is like wow and its brits fav too. Haha!

I’d like to say these are just some of the comfy food/drink that makes me feel better. It maybe fattening but I’m not craving for it all the time. It’s just sometimes you feel like indulging yourself to something that makes you feel better and not-care of what you eat, as in at all.

Anyway, I got this tag from Kat, a blog friend of mine from the beautiful city of Dumaguete. Thank you Katie!

So, I’d like to pass this tag to friendship charmed one, olongogapoboi, robinriyadh, thess of Holland, Fionixe, Mhel and Krisjasper of Birmingham! I’d be glad to know your comfy fud too. Go go go guys!!!

Grab a picture of it and post it if you may. Enjoy!

Modest to the extreme - REVIEW

Can’t help but post this amazing poem-like way of writing a review of the BLACKOUT cd of brit from a fan at amazon.com. She rated the CD 4.5 out 5 stars.
I like it.

Enjoy!!!
I wrote a rhyme for K-Fed
That was an instant hit
So now to even up the score
I must do one for Brit

I'm sorry that her life's a mess
I'd help her if I could
But I'm happy to report to you
That this album is GOOD!

I've danced around to "Gimme More"
And laughed aloud with glee
To see her dish about it all
On track two, "Piece of Me"
I sped over to to "Radar"
The beat is really nice
So far this album really rocks
And may just "Break the Ice"

A slower track is number five
It's almost `80s pop
But when she sings "Get Naked"
I said, "We've seen it - STOP!"
She shares songwriting credits
On tracks seven and ten
Sounds like Missy on track eight
Then starts to rock again

Not all the tracks are perfect tens
But still there's quite enough
To prove that Britney can bounce back
If she keeps hanging tough
Rated: 4.5 stars

WW on Brit....

So I was surfing threw the internet 'bout articles/news on Brit and realized that the Britney discussion must be touched just once again this time.

Below is an article that host Wendy Williams posted on her official myspace blog. It's really good and she's actually standing up for Brit. Visit MySpace to view the article on her blog or just read it right here:
This is really worth posting!
I am going to be posting a blog with a copy of Britney's and KFed's bank statements. And while reading the article the realization of what could possibly be occuring must be discussed with all of you. I know alot of the fans of this site have children so they can sympathize with what I am about to say.

As a mom, especially a young mom, we will make mistakes with our children. Imagine if every single mistake you make what broadcasted across the internet and news.

Lets think about this logically for a moment. Time-line. Britney breaks off with K-Fed a a day or so before the prenup would of changed for more support. The only logical reason for Britney to break it off with K-Fed is cheating. She gave him the world, as some of the woman reading this blog have done for a man, and even Britney Spears with all her money, fame, and 2 beautiful children, could not keep KFed faithful!

So of course what happens, She goes a little crazy. Her and her girlfriends go out and get fucked up a few times (broadcasted all over the news) and then BOOM! KFed and her have another "exchange of words" that probably was something like KFed saying "Bitch Imma call the cops and tell them you using drugs and shit". So Britney, being sheltered because shes been a child star (Remember her, Christina, and justin timberlake where on the the Mickey Mouse Club on Disney??) has no street smarts like most of the readers fo this blog and freaks out and does what? Someone probably told her that they can trace drugs in your hair? So she shaves her head 45 minutes following a huge fight with KFed.

Now the world thinks shes fuckin nuts. She lashes out on the papparazzi with an umbrella because she just cant take it anymore. Probably parties a little more because now she shaved her fuckin head the whole world is laughing, Things cant get any worse!!

But oh no they can if your Britney Spears!

Your scumbag husband realizes his alimony is running out in 9 months!! So what does he do? He takes total advantage of the fact that you hit rock bottom being so upset over him and takes you to court for full custody of the kids. Why? So he can get more money...

Now, if your Britney your probably starting to get pissed off. Probably getting a little aggravated to have some stranger in your home telling you that "you need to do this" or "you should do that" with your kids...not really helping the situation, but understandable. Personally speaking, me and that parenting coach would probably be throwin down every now and then I am sure.Nobody likes to be told what to do with their children!

And in the midst of all this you got people reporting god only knows what to the media making it look like your crazy. But in actuality these are problems that everyday independant woman would go threw between the age of 24 and 30. Are we not to sympathize with her at all? Is that Crocker guy wrong in saying "LEAVE BRITNEY ALONE??"

This is why her CD is number one. Because there isn't a woman or even a man in the country who cannot relate to what she is going threw. Even if you don't agree with the statements above and hate her your drawn to read about her and listen to music even more just to hate her. Look at the article below from TMZ.com. Kfeds money runs out in two weeks. Perfect timing to be looking for full custody of his children right??

Moon Gazing etc. etc..

M & I

if u could only see what i see...hehe!

I had the opportunity to see such an impeccable sight of the moon last Thursday night when it was almost at it’s brightest, using the new telescope of my friend MAL. It made my night quite extraordinary. Also, thanks to the well-organized e-commerce provided by amazon.com. Shopping has never been easy, even shopping for telescope.

I have never seen the moon before as near as I have seen last Thursday. I was truly mesmerized!!!

Back in my HS days, science has been my favorite subject. Just that I am always fascinated with its mystery and all or maybe because my teacher in high school made it look interesting and fun. FYI, my teacher was actually my mom. Lolz! Not until I reach my last year in HS when I started to somehow hate science. Everything has change. Different set of teachers from year to year.

Physics hellooooooo. It was such a mind-boggling & mentally stimulating subject not to mention having a terror-mad teacher that my classmates had been too afraid of. Science started to slip away my interest. But not totally!

Going back, it was an amazing experienced seeing the moon with its halo via the telescope. Sooo near and sooo bright. That’s why people love to take pictures of the moon may it be during the day or at night. I just love that we all have the moon and many other things common in us.

Moon gazing with friends has truly been one weekend that I would treasure. And I hope my friends and I would be able to do that more often. Star gazing next time maybe! That would be fun!

Other than that, my weekend was filled with movie and tv series watching. I watched the latest movie of Justin “Black Snake Moan” and Mandy Moore’s “Because I Said So”. For tv series, I had “ Heroes” S2E8; “Grey’s Anatomy” S4E7 & E8; “Bionic Woman” S1E7 and in between my laundry last thur PM I was playing PS3 Dark Kingdom with Jam and a surprise visit from chin, nitz & pegs.

Word of the day - Nov. 20,2007

The Word of the Day for November 08, 2007 is:
fungible • \FUN-juh-bul\ • adjective

1 : being of such a nature that one part or quantity may be replaced by another equal part or quantity in the satisfaction of an obligation
*2 : interchangeable
3 : flexible

Example Sentence:
Jessica believes her unique skill set makes her an indispensable member of the company rather than just one of many fungible employees.

Did you know?

"Fungible" -- which derives from the Latin verb "fungi," meaning "to perform" (no relation to the noun "fungus" and its plural "fungi") -- is a word that often shows up in legal contexts. Something fungible can be exchanged for something else of the same kind. For example, we could say "oil is a fungible commodity." That means that when a purchaser is expecting a delivery of oil, any oil of the stipulated quantity and quality will usually do. Another example of something fungible is cash. It doesn't matter what twenty dollar bill you get -- it's still worth the same amount as any other twenty dollar bill. In contrast, something like a painting isn't fungible; a purchaser would expect a specific, identifiable item to be delivered. In broader use, "fungible" can mean "interchangeable" or sometimes "changeable, fluid, or malleable."

*Indicates the sense illustrated in the example sentence.

All by myself....

Nothing much to say here so I’d rather post a new word of the day for today.
I’m actually pre-occupied with work right now at the office. My officemate Archie isn’t with me so it’s like I’m gonna be dealing some of his stuff all by myself. Sometimes what he’s doing is beyond my comprehension..hehe! Good thing is that I could call him up at his mobile anytime. That would definitely give a LENITIVE effect in my aching brain. Hopefully he'll answer all my calls. I can see it, its like i'm gonna bug him all day long. caloca.com
But hey, I can do this!

So there…..
Anyway,
The Word of the Day for November 18, 2007 is:

lenitive • \LEN-uh-tiv\ • adjective

: alleviating pain or harshness : soothing

Example Sentence:

Ryan's mother insisted that a steaming cup of herbal tea would have a lenitive effect on his stomachache.

Did you know?

"Lenitive" first appeared in English in the 15th century. It derived from the Latin verb "lenire" ("to soften or soothe"), which was itself formed from the adjective "lenis," meaning "soft" or "mild." "Lenire" also gave us the adjective "lenient," which usually means "tolerant" or "indulgent" today but in its original sense carried the meaning of "relieving pain or stress." Often found in medical contexts, "lenitive" can also be a noun referring to a treatment (such as a salve) with soothing or healing properties.

Pretty OK weekend...

I had a pretty OK weekend. Though not as fabulous as my previous weekends but it was pretty ok.

I never had a weekend with myself staying put in the house for quite a long a time. Usually my weekends are pretty bushed going out with friends. This time I spent it with myself and with my flatmates and my ever perpetual companions i.e. movies and tv series. In other words, I was well-rested and spent quality time eklavu with you know who.

Last wed night I got a call from Matt who’s fresh from his stint from Switzerland. Stint daw oh! Hmmm, quite a glitterati ha? We talked for like 20min. on the phone ranging from a variety of topics. Matt loves to talk and the not-so-talker in me had been engaged with a conversation as long as 20-min was quite like a rock-climbing without a rope to support me. Lolz! He’s actually calling me at his own expense, so that would not be a problem at all.

The conversation never actually ends as Matt invited us for a dinner at the very expensiveTony Roma’s. Tony Roma’s became the talk of the town since it first open here in Riyadh months ago. Located along Olaya Rd. in a very high profile spot infront of Splash ( my favorite shop to shop).

Mark-it and I had new york strips steak, medium-done cooked. Matt also ordered new york strips well done. While Jun and Edward had the bountiful beef ribs steak well done . All five of us had different side dishes and drinks to our liking.

My tony roma’s dinner with friends had definitely been a treat and an experienced. It was my first and hopefully not my last.

Anyway, like what I said my weekend (thur & fri) was practically just about myself. It’s my choice! I could have called a few numbers. I could have answered phone calls if I really wanted to go out and party but I never did. I just never did.

P.S.

Matty: Tnx for the Remy Martin Cognac Swiss chocolate u gave me. Mejo nahilo ako dun ha!

Word of the day - November 15,2007

The Word of the Day for November 15, 2007 is:

williwaw • \WILL-ih-waw\ noun

1 a : a sudden violent gust of cold land air common along mountainous coasts of high latitudes

b : a sudden violent wind

2 : a violent commotion

Example Sentence:

The sailors had all heard stories of ships capsized by the williwaws that plagued the strait.

Did you know?

In 1900, Captain Joshua Slocum described williwaws as "compressed gales of wind . . . that Boreas handed down over the hills in chunks." To unsuspecting sailors or pilots, such winds might seem to come out of nowhere -- just like word "williwaw" did some 150 years ago. All anyone knows about the origin of the word is that it was first used by writers in the mid-1800s to name fierce winds in the Strait of Magellan at the southern tip of South America. The writers were British, and indications are that they may have learned the word from British sailors and seal hunters. Where they got the word, we cannot say.

Word of the day - Nov. 14, 2007

The Word of the Day for November 14, 2007 is:

denegation • \den-ih-GAY-shun\ • noun
: denial

Example Sentence:

"The defendant's actions," the lawyer argued, "led to the denegation of my client's rights as a citizen."

Did you know?

Even if we didn't provide you with a definition, you might guess the meaning of "denegation" from the "negation" part. Both words are ultimately derived from the Latin verb "negare," meaning "to deny" or "to say no," and both first arrived in English in the 15th century. "Negare" is also the source of our "abnegation" ("self-denial"), "negate" ("to deny the truth of"), and "renegade" (which originally referred to someone who leaves, and therefore denies, a religious faith). Even "deny" and "denial" are "negare" descendants. Like "denegation," they came to us from "negare" by way of the Latin "denegare," which also means "to deny."

Leaving on a jet plane...

dra. allain in red..

You might be wonderin’ why my subject title is Leaving on a jet plane”? It’s because dra. Allain will be leaving tonight to the Philippines. Anita, Pegs, Chin and I volunteered to drop him off to the airport at 8 PM.

Surely we will all miss dra allain when he leaves us temporarily for vacation. 45 days is quite a long wait for us. This would mean minus dra allain sa mga weekend rampage namin. But when I think of the pasalubong he would bring back to us then it’s gonna be all cool. Lolz!

To friendship Allain;

Have a safe flight tonight!!!

Enjoy your vacation with family and friends!!!

Word of the day - Nov. 13, 2007

Anita suggested that I should have a “word of the day” posted here in my blog well obviously everyday and like prepare a sentence as an example of how to use the word.

Actually it’s not a bad idea. Not only will I learn a new word everyday it will also increase my vocabulary.

I remember my days with mabuhay toastmaster’s club. I was very active in toastmastering a couple of yrs back. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to complete my CTM for some reasons. Anyway, in toastmasters we always have this “word of the day” each meeting. We are allowed to use or integrate the word in every speaking opportunity all throughout the session and will be reported by the wordmaster on how many times we use the word at the end of each meeting. Isn’t that interesting???

To start with;

The Word of the Day for November 13, 2007 is:

tadaaaaahhhhhh….

Transpicuous \tran-SPIK-yuh-wus\ • adjective
: clearly seen through or understood

Example Sentence:

Although the reporter claimed to be merely curious, her motives were quite transpicuous; it was clear that she was hunting a story.

Did you know?

"Transpicuous" is derived from the Latin word "transpicere," meaning "to look through." "Transpicere," in turn, is a formation that combines "trans-," meaning "through," and "specere," a verb meaning "to look" or "to see." If you guessed that "transpicuous" is related to "conspicuous," you're correct. It's also possible to see a number of other "specere" descendants in English, including "aspect," "circumspect," "expect," "inspect," "perspective," and "suspect." Another descendant of "specere," and a close synonym of "transpicuous," is "perspicuous," which means "clear and easy to understand," as in "a perspicuous argument." ("Per-," like "trans-," means "through.") There's also "perspicacious," meaning "keen and observant." (You might say that "perspicuous" and "transpicuous" mean "able to be seen through," whereas "perspicacious" means "able to see through.")

I've heard it all....

Guess what??? I got all the mp3 tracks of…...drum roll plsssss..…”Blackout” cd of brit last night. I got to thank the better half of kiti for it. JR thank you sooo very much. You’re officially my download-this-and-that-for-me guy right now. Lolz!

For hours, I was listening to the tracks over and over. I just can’t believe I’m hearing it all last night. Mereseng maingay sa room namin. Bueno ya lang nuay el dimiyo roommate. He’s out somewhere!

A lot of things had been popping out my mind while on the verge of listening the tracks. I know people are determining their opinion of this album based on what's going on in her life. Everyone has problems. We might think we know what is happening to her...but we really don't. Just like no one understands what is really going on in your life. And we only like to hear about her issues coz it makes us feel better about ourselves and what we are going through. And those who judge her private life...it must be nice to be perfect.

For me this album is great. It is nice to hear her sing again on some of the slower tracks without losing her sexiness in others. Let's face it...we all love her when she is bad. I love Britney (I’m such a die-hard fan). She does what she wants when she wants and she doesn't have to answer to anyone. Trust me, kung naging true blue gurlatch lng me and I looked like her, had money like her, and had her talent--I would be acting a whole lot worse.

Those of you who say she has no talent...if that is true and it is so easy to do what she does...where is your album and number one hits????

Brit's " Piece of Me " Lyrics...

Album: Blackout (2007)

I'm Miss American Dream since I was 17
Don't matter if I step on the scene
Or sneak away to the Philippines
They still got pictures of my derri¨re in the magazine
You want a piece of me?
You want a piece of me...

I'm Miss bad media karma
Another day another drama
Guess I can't see no harm
In working and being a mama
And with a kid on my arm
I'm still an exception
And you want a piece of me

I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's Shameless
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Exta! Extra! this just in
[You want a piece of me]

I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. 'You want a piece of me?'
Tryin' and pissin' me off
Well get in line with the paparazzi
Who's flippin' me off
Hopin' I'll resort to startin' havoc
And end up settlin' in court
Now are you sure you want a piece of me?

I'm Mrs. 'Most likely to get on TV for strippin' on the streets'
When getting the groceries, no, for real..
Are you kidding me?
Causing panic in the industry
I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
[You want a piece of me]

I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's Shameless
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Exta! Extra! this just in
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
[You want a piece of me]

I'm Miss American Dream since I was 17
Don't matter if I step on the scene
Or sneak away to the Philippines
They still got pictures of my derri¨re in the magazine
You want a piece of me?
You want a piece of me...
You want a piece of me?

I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's Shameless
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Exta! Extra! this just in
[You want a piece of me]

I'm Mrs. she's too big now she's too thin
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Lifestyles of the rich and famous
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Oh my God that Britney's Shameless
[You want a piece of me]
I'm Mrs. Exta! Extra! this just in

Just thought of sharing this lyrics to ya'll. Strange, philippines was mentioned in the lyrics. No wonder brit has always been no. 1 in the philippines since "baby one more time" era.

Btw, "Piece of me" will officially be the second single of brit as confirmed by his record company jive.

Produced by the Swedish duo Bloodshy & Avant, who were also the hit-makers behind “Toxic.”

It makes sense that POM is the next single considering it's already charted higher than Don't Let Me Be the Last to Know, Overprotected, I'm Not A Girl Not Yet A Woman, Boys, Outrageous, My Prerogative, and Do Somethin' on the Billboard Hot 100! Woo hoo!

Piece out!!!!!

Really C-R-A-Z-Z-Z-Y Weekend....

Waahhhhhhhh. I had a crazy weekend ppl. I never imagine I would experience something like that. But hey, I won’t go into details what really happen. But it was so much fun, it was crazy. Remember, I made a deal with myself not to meet up with friends, I broke that.

Last Thursday I was with a new found friend (a fellow kababayan from zamboanga) at Sanie Building. He invited me to have dinner with him at his flat. We talked a lot of things; about zamboanga city, its people, what’s new, you know getting to know more of each other. We ended up learning and knowing few same people back in zamboanga city. Like one of his bestfriends is my first cousins hubby and some prominent people back home.

While having our late dinner, I got a call from peggy inviting me to attend a bday bash his friend is throwing in an undisclosed venue. Hmmm? Somethings not right here, I thought of. Without being too curious about the venue, I allow myself to join with them. Though I broke what I have said in my last posting, at least I got the chance to meet a new friend and bond. That’s what really matter.

Anyway, the party started like almost 12MN. Sobrang dami ng bisita, pagurls and menchu alike. Sobrang dami din ng lafang. But I wasn’t really like eating too much. I pig out on fruit salad and cassava cake, though.

What caught our attention that night, was about the buzz going on na there will be like a prepared show as a gift to the celebrator and for the pagurls. We waited for hours for that to happen. Something that will satisfy our eyes daw.

After the waiting game, it did happen, everyone was all excited and curious. At the back of my mind, I know something crazy was about to unfold. Guess what? It was the craziest show I have ever witnessed. Really really crazy. I never would have thought, something like that could ever happen here. It was so so so much CRAZY. Hahahaha!!! Like I said, I won’t go into details, kc mejo sensored xa. But I can assure you, it was definitely a blast.

Like right now, when I think of it, I couldn’t help but smile. Gosssshhh, I won’t forget that night, ever!!!

My friend Anita...

Anita pretty in pink....

Nothing much to write really this days, nothing much to say either. It’s Wednesday, so I’d probably be looking forward to my weekend. Today I got an invitation from a friend to have a late lunch at Faisaliah Hotel. That would definitely be a treat to me; I won’t have to spend for my lunch today. Other than that, I don’t think my weekend would be as exciting as it used to be, I can see it. My friends would be laying low on partying at ranco, I would guess. Seeing each other almost every weekend can be a bit exasperating. Lolz! Sometimes you got to have time for yourself alone reflecting whatever or spend time with other people.

So much with myself, I have decided to post this quite an inspiring article sent to me by my friend Anita. His professor from college wanted him to write something inspirational for their school paper and this is what he came up with.

Facing a life ahead…..
By Marlon B. Vicente

We often say that life is unfair because of the many struggles we encounter in our daily lives, but, it never was. We should live our life the way it is calling us. Don’t make it so hard to understand that sometimes it may lead us into nothing. Life always has its ups and downs. Let our downfall be our strength and serve as our mighty weapon to reach the other side of our life, the ups side.

Many of us have lived a life that we never dreamt of. We wished to have a better life as what fortunate people have. But destiny has put us into a life that we never expected, a life wherein we have to face a battle in order to supplement our daily needs. And sometimes if we failed, we tend to surrender because of our defeat that is weakening us. At times we blame Him for all our sufferings due to the impact of poverty: poverty which is the number one problem of our country wherein we are affected because we belong to the low-class community. But, we should not be ruined by poverty instead let this be an inspiration for us to dream big and pursue a career.

To start with, I have lived my life as a less-fortunate like most of us do. I went to public schools for all my education from preparatory up to college. But I am deeply thankful because these public schools that I went through have molded me into a person with pride and dignity. I learned of not being influenced by poverty instead it made me even stronger and determined to achieve all my dreams and aspirations in life. For I believe education is the only treasure that we can inherit to our parents, true to the fact that nobody can take away from us.

The last school (Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University-NLUC, Institute of Computer Studies) that I have attended was the reason why I am here right now. My college years did a lot of changes in my personal and social life, my professional career, goals and objectives. The teaching strategies and methods they have implemented helped me cover up with what is happening in the recent technology, being an Information Management graduate. The curricular offerings are in line with the latest trends in Information Communications Technology. Thus, they trained and molded me to become who I am in the future. Also, having been an active student leader, student journalists and a cultural member during my school days has made me received a scholarship grant thru Special Talent Program wherein it shouldered my full tuition fee. It was indeed a big help in pursuing my college education. I was able to attend Provincial, Regional and even National trainings and conferences. These tremendous experiences during the years that I was still studying made such a great impact in my social life especially my professional career. It does not only help me developed and honed my skills and talents, but it also made me a stronger and better individual who’s globally competitive.

After graduating from college, I did a job related to my profession as a private secretary (home based) to my uncle who’s a Sales Manager in an elevator and engineering services company. It was a good start for me because the experience that I gained has taught me to develop my skills and capabilities in terms of office management. But my first professional job was working as a call center agent (technical support representative) at Advanced Contact Solutions in Makati City. It wasn’t that easy venturing into the call center world. We had to undergo rigid screening, pass at least 3-5 interviews not to mention undergoing the English proficiency examination. After passing these interviews with flying colors, another 4-5 weeks training required before finally facing the battle field, taking a call. Training requires a lot of effort because we need to be familiarized with the account we would handle. Likewise, series of examinations both practical and written are needed as the basis of our performance evaluation whether we made it or not and be called a quality agent who’s fit to work in a call center environment.

At first, it was hard for me to cope with the training because of the new environment I was with. I had to deal and mingle with people who are graduates of La Salle, UP, UST and other prestigious schools and the fact that it was my first official job after college. It wasn’t really a walk in the park. Other than that, the training involves technical aspects like the Verizon DSL, an internet service provider. But thanks to my Alma Matter who provided me with good education. The things that was discussed and taught during the training are all in line with Information Technology. That was the time I begun to realize how excellent DMMMSU in producing graduates. And based on experience, almost all of the knowledge I acquired during my college years has helped me pass the training and continue being a call center agent.

And as they always say, that the world is round and pregnant, full of possibilities. Another opportunity knocked my door. A friend of mine referred me to her agency to apply for a secretarial position in Saudi Arabia. At first I was hesitant to accept the referral because my initial plan of working abroad is in Macau where my cousins are based there. Still I tried to apply because in the first place I know that I am capable in the said position not only because of my work experiences but also the knowledge I have gained during my college years and also being one of the student leaders. I was trained to make memorandums, do business letters, make minutes of the meetings, deal with campus and university officials and the opportunity of attending conferences, trainings and seminars outside school premises. And so I accepted the job knowing that I will be working away from my family, my friends and all the people I loved.

My special thanks goes out to Dr. Samuel Pablico, my adviser and Dr. Jaime Manuel, my ever supportive SAS Coordinator and to all campus and university officials. Truly, DMMMSU’s teachings methods and strategies are excellent because the graduates they have produced are highly and globally competitive.

These are some of the experiences that I will forever treasure. I would never forget the DMMMSU community, NLUC folks and my ICS family. Yes, I have experienced lots of downfall in my life but the reason why I tried to get up and continue facing the battle of life is because of my family, relatives, friends and most especially the institution who trained and molded me as a professional. The teachings and guidance they have given me served as my tool in conquering a better life ahead. But let us not forget that there is someone above who is beyond all of these whether negative or positive. We should not forget to remember Him for us to continue soaring high.

And up to date, I am working here in the oil-rich Saudi Arabia for barely 5 months now in one of the departments here in Riyad Bank and continue reaping the fruits of my labor.

D Party @ Ranco

I was in ranco again last thur. with friends celebrating the despidida party of MR. She’s leaving somewhere, someplace I dunno where exactly at. All I know was that she’s leaving and we’re having a farewell party. Lolz! I didn’t bother either to ask MR bout it. The party was all fun as expected. Same group of friends, with some few additionals. RL was there for the first time since he wanted to have fun and Mr. M as a last minute decision to hitch with us.

I had cough and colds but did not get in the way of me to have fun. Esp having RL around. Ooooooh db? Lolz. Honestly, that was really something esp. having good friends around with u. Right J?

Anyway, I’d like to say thanks to MR for the Petuchini alfredo and the cheese cake she prepared. It was sensational and to Ms. L as the host of the night.
